Oqiron Digital Assets and Quantitative Trading Risk Disclosure

Effective Date: July 26, 2026

Please Read in Full Before Trading

This Risk Disclosure is intended to explain the primary risks associated with using Oqiron for quantitative trading of digital assets and derivatives; however, it does not list all risks. You should not assume that the service is suitable for you simply because you have completed registration, passed risk controls, or viewed historical data.

Digital assets and leveraged derivatives are high-risk investments. You may lose some or all of your principal within a short period of time; where permitted by exchange rules, you may also incur additional losses due to fees, negative-balance loss handling, or other obligations. You should only use the trading features if you understand the relevant products, can afford to lose the entire amount invested, and have confirmed that local laws permit such trading.

1. Does Not Constitute Investment Advice or a Promise of Returns

  • Oqiron provides software, automated execution, data, risk control, and account services; it does not provide personalized investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
  • Strategies, signals, ratings, model outputs, risk levels, and customer support content are not a substitute for your independent judgment.
  • The platform does not promise principal protection, capital preservation, fixed returns, minimum returns, win rates, or maximum losses.
  • Any historical trades, backtests, simulations, demos, annualized metrics, or the performance of others do not guarantee future results.

2. Market and Price Risks

Digital asset prices may fluctuate dramatically due to market sentiment, liquidity, macroeconomic events, regulation, technology, issuers, exchanges, manipulation, hacking, or unforeseen events. Prices may experience consecutive price jumps, resulting in stop-loss orders failing to execute at the expected price or failing to execute at all.

Markets may operate 24/7, and significant changes may occur while you are offline, resting, or unable to access the platform. Stablecoins may also de-peg, be frozen, suspend redemptions, or lose market liquidity.

3. Leverage, Contracts, and Forced Liquidation Risks

  • Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. Even small price movements can result in substantial losses or forced liquidation.
  • Margin requirements, maintenance margins, risk limits, and forced liquidation mechanisms are determined by the exchange and are subject to change at any time.
  • Cross-margin mode may allow losses from a single position to affect other funds in your account; isolated margin mode does not eliminate the risks of price gaps or liquidity.
  • The liquidation price, marked price, index price, and actual execution price may differ.
  • In extreme circumstances, automatic position reduction, loss allocation, the insurance fund, or special exchange rules may affect the final settlement.

4. Liquidity, Slippage, and Execution Risks

  • The order price is not equal to the execution price. Market orders, stop orders, and conditional orders may result in significant slippage.
  • Limit orders may be partially filled, remain unfilled for an extended period, or not be filled at all.
  • Insufficient market depth, price jumps, network latency, or exchange rate limiting may cause orders to be split, delayed, rejected, or queried repeatedly.
  • Transaction fees, funding rates, spreads, slippage, borrowing costs, and on-chain fees may turn a seemingly profitable trade into a loss.
  • Post-Only, Reduce-Only, take-profit, stop-loss, and other exchange orders are subject to the exchange’s actual rules, and there is no guarantee that the expected results will be achieved.

5. Algorithm, Model, and Strategy Risks

  • Algorithms rely on historical and real-time data and cannot predict all future events or changes in market structure.
  • Models may overfit, fail, generate false signals, or perform abnormally in unseen market conditions.
  • Multi-strategy portfolios do not necessarily reduce risk; multiple strategies may incur losses simultaneously or exhibit high correlation during stressful market conditions.
  • Risk parameters, scores, and access controls can only partially mitigate risk and do not guarantee the prevention of losses.
  • System upgrades, parameter changes, strategy rotations, or risk exits may alter trading frequency, positions, and results.
  • Passing manual or automated tests only demonstrates technical performance under specific conditions and does not guarantee future profitability in live trading.

6. Data and Reconciliation Risks

Market data, order books, account information, positions, trade executions, and funding data may be delayed, missing, conflicting, or erroneous. Although the platform employs multi-source verification, idempotency, and reconciliation mechanisms, the following situations may still occur:

  • The exchange returns a success response but the subsequent status is uncertain;
  • Information for standard orders and conditional orders is out of sync;
  • Cumulative executions, partial executions, or funding rates are delayed;
  • Page caching is temporarily inconsistent with the exchange’s current status;
  • Confirmation delays caused by network retries, service restarts, or third-party failures.

When evidence is incomplete, the platform may suspend new trades, maintain an “unknown” status, or await reconciliation rather than assuming success. This protective measure itself may also result in missed opportunities or delayed exits.

7. Risks Associated with Automated Execution and Order Lifecycle

Once a bot is enabled, the system may automatically open positions, add to positions, reduce positions, take profit, set stop-losses, cancel orders, or close positions without requiring confirmation for each transaction. Automated execution may occur faster than manual reactions.

The system cannot guarantee that every protective order will always be valid. Exchange order rejections, differences in conditional order parameters, loss of order identification, API exceptions, insufficient balance, or market disruptions may all cause protective measures to be delayed or fail.

You should regularly check your actual exchange positions and orders, rather than relying solely on the platform interface. If you detect any anomalies, you should prioritize protecting your account and contact the platform.

8. Risks of Client Intervention

If you manually modify, cancel, or close positions or protective orders managed by the bot on the exchange or through other channels, the relevant positions may transfer to client control. To avoid competing with you for control, the system may cancel its remaining orders and cease automatic management of that position.

Client intervention may result in unhedged positions, duplicate transactions, partial executions, book value discrepancies, or strategy failure. Before intervening, you should understand the exchange’s order types and your current positions.

9. Exchange and Third-Party Risks

Exchanges may experience downtime, rate limits, system errors, hacking attacks, asset freezes, withdrawal suspensions, rule changes, bankruptcy, or regulatory actions. Blockchain nodes, cloud services, networks, email, security authentication, and other third parties may also become unavailable.

The platform has no control over third parties’ assets and liabilities, internal governance, or ability to continue operations. Funds in exchange accounts may not be protected by bank deposit insurance or investor compensation programs.

10. Personal Account API Risks

  • Disclosure of API keys may result in unauthorized transactions. You must enable least privilege access and use the exchange’s supported IP whitelist.
  • Normal access should not grant withdrawal permissions; if you grant permissions beyond what is required, you may increase the scope of potential losses.
  • Replacing or deleting an API may interrupt management, but it will not automatically eliminate existing positions, orders, or historical liabilities on the exchange.
  • You remain bound by the exchange’s User Agreement, risk rules, and regional restrictions.

11. Risks Associated with Integrated Accounts and Custody

Once integrated accounts are officially launched, client funds may be pooled, accounted for, and transferred to the exchange by the platform. Even if the platform uses separate client ledgers and fund segregation measures, the following risks still exist:

  • Security risks related to custody, signatures, wallets, private keys, internal processes, or operations;
  • Risks associated with the platform’s pooling wallet or exchange account being frozen, attacked, subject to bankruptcy, or restricted;
  • Risks of temporary discrepancies between customer ledgers and on-chain records or exchange records;
  • Risks of withdrawal delays due to reconciliation, open positions, security reviews, network congestion, or legal requirements;
  • The risk of delays in fund processing due to termination of platform services, technical failures, or force majeure.

Integrated accounts are not bank accounts, and client balances are not covered by deposit insurance. The platform’s implementation of segregation and auditing cannot eliminate third-party, legal, or technical risks.

12. Blockchain, Wallet, and Stablecoin Risks

  • Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Errors in addresses, networks, token contracts, or amounts may result in permanent loss.
  • Transactions may be delayed or fail due to insufficient fees, insufficient resources, chain reorganization, contract failures, node anomalies, or network congestion.
  • Clients’ dedicated deposit addresses are only valid for chains and tokens explicitly supported by the platform. Do not send other assets.
  • Stablecoins may become unpegged, frozen, blacklisted, suspended from redemption, or affected by issuer actions or regulatory measures.
  • Smart contracts may be subject to vulnerabilities, upgrades, suspensions, or governance risks.
  • Public blockchains permanently disclose addresses and transaction details; privacy cannot be fully guaranteed.

13. Network and Information Security Risks

Phishing websites, malware, SIM card hijacking, compromised email accounts, password reuse, remote control, and social engineering may lead to account theft. Attackers may impersonate the platform to solicit verification codes, passwords, API secrets, private keys, or mnemonic phrases.

The platform will never ask you via email or customer service to provide your login password, email verification codes, mnemonic phrase, or private keys. Any request to transfer funds to a temporary personal address, or any promise to unfreeze funds or guarantee returns, should be considered high-risk.

14. Fees, Revenue Sharing, and Rewards Risks

Subscription fees, transaction fees, funding rates, slippage, on-chain fees, taxes, and revenue sharing will all reduce your net returns. Revenue sharing should be based solely on positive net returns that have been realized and reconciled; however, settlement may still be delayed due to data corrections, disputes, or exchange processing delays.

Referral rewards are derived from platform-confirmed revenue; they are not investment returns and are not guaranteed to continue. Reward rules, available balances, and withdrawals may be affected by refunds, disputes, risk control measures, tax requirements, and legal obligations.

15. Legal, Regulatory, Sanctions, and Tax Risks

The legal status of digital assets and automated trading varies by country and region and is subject to rapid change. Regulatory measures may restrict registration, trading, leverage, custody, stablecoins, transfers, withdrawals, or the provision of services.

It is your responsibility to confirm that your location and applicable laws permit your use of the Services and to fulfill your reporting and tax obligations. The Platform may restrict accounts, refuse transactions, freeze processing, or request additional information due to sanctions, anti-money laundering regulations, court orders, regulatory requirements, or risk control measures.

16. Service Interruption and Force Majeure Risks

Service interruptions may result from issues with the internet, power supply, cloud services, exchanges, blockchain, nodes, DNS, email, software defects, maintenance, natural disasters, war, public events, or regulatory actions. Backup, failover, and recovery measures do not guarantee zero downtime or zero data latency.

17. Risk Tolerance

Before using trading services, you should consider:

  • Whether you understand digital assets, contracts, leverage, margin, liquidation, and funding rates;
  • Whether you can afford to lose all invested funds without affecting your basic living expenses, debt obligations, or emergency funds;
  • Whether you are able to verify your actual positions, orders, and funds on the exchange;
  • Whether you understand the differences in fund control between personal API accounts and integrated accounts;
  • Whether you have obtained the necessary independent financial, legal, and tax advice;
  • Whether the relevant services are permitted in your jurisdiction.

You must not use borrowed funds, funds necessary for daily living, funds held in trust for others, or funds you cannot afford to lose for trading.

18. Your Confirmation

By checking the box to agree and continuing with registration, you confirm that:

  • You have read this Risk Disclosure, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy in their entirety;
