Quantitative Trading System / Who Is It For?

We don’t expect every customer to be a trading expert, but we do want you to find the approach that works best for you.

OQIRON is designed for beginners new to quantitative trading, as well as for traders who have long relied on manual trading and wish to reduce the need to constantly monitor the market and make repetitive decisions. Clients with varying levels of experience use the same system, but their focus differs.

Whether it’s suitable for you depends not only on your level of experience, but also on your understanding of risk, capital allocation, account management needs, and long-term usage expectations.

Why it matters

The following types of clients are more likely to derive value from systematic trading

Whether OQIRON is suitable cannot be determined solely by categorizing users as “beginners” or “professional traders.” What matters more is whether clients understand that perpetual contracts carry the risk of loss, whether they can use funds they can afford to lose, how much control they wish to exercise over their account operations, and whether they are willing to evaluate the system over a full trading cycle rather than based on just one or two trades.

No time to monitor the market around the clock

We hope trading no longer takes up all of your personal and work time.

The cryptocurrency market operates around the clock, and work, rest, and sleep can all create gaps in manual monitoring. The system can handle continuous monitoring and condition checks, so clients don’t have to sacrifice all their time to manage their positions.

Manual trading is prone to emotional influence

We hope to bring decision-making and execution back under a consistent set of rules.

Manual strategies are often adjusted after actual profits or losses materialize. The system prioritizes position sizing, exit strategies, and risk rules over in-the-moment emotions, helping clients transform their experience into executable standards that can be consistently replicated over the long term.

Want to use quantitative trading but don’t know how to code?

A system that integrates strategy, execution, and risk management is required.

Customers do not need to write strategies, deploy servers, or maintain order processing systems, yet they still have access to a complete suite of market, strategy, risk, and execution systems. What has been lowered is the technical barrier to entry, not the requirements for risk awareness.

Complete guide

Whether it is suitable or not depends on the specific problem the customer is trying to solve.

OQIRON is not intended solely for those with no trading experience, nor is it designed exclusively for professional traders. Whether it is suitable for you depends on your time availability, trading habits, capital management needs, understanding of risk, and long-term expectations.

01 / Beginner

Beginners New to Quantitative Trading

You don’t need to develop your own strategies, but you should first understand perpetual contracts, the potential for losses, capital limits, and account permissions.

Beginners do not need to write strategies or study every parameter, but they do need to understand that principal may fluctuate, leverage amplifies risk, and past performance is not indicative of future results. Once these limitations are understood, the system can handle a significant amount of professional judgment and repetitive execution on behalf of clients.

  • Build a foundational understanding through the Learning Center
  • Prioritize using funds you can afford to lose
  • First, select your account mode and risk tolerance
02 / Manual trader

Traders who have been executing trades manually for a long time

The system helps reduce the need to monitor the market around the clock, react to short-term price fluctuations, and make frequent on-the-fly adjustments to trading plans, allowing you to shift your focus toward more stable, systematic management.

Manual traders typically already understand the market, but they are often drained by having to monitor the market around the clock, constantly search for entry and exit points, and deal with the emotional stress of trading in the moment. OQIRON’s value does not lie in dismissing experience, but rather in entrusting the aspects of trading that are difficult to sustain over the long term to a consistent set of rules.

  • Reduce the need to repeatedly search for entry and exit points
  • Minimize the Impact of Emotions on Execution
  • Using Overall Cycle Evaluation Results
03 / Control

I would like to keep my funds on my own exchange

The personal exchange API mode allows customers to retain control of their accounts; the system operates only within the authorized scope and does not require withdrawal permissions.

Customers who prioritize account control can use their personal exchange API. Funds remain on their own exchange, and customers retain the right to log in to their accounts and revoke API access; the system only reads and executes within the authorized scope and does not require withdrawal permissions.

  • Funds remain on the customer’s exchange
  • Customers create their own API permissions
  • Need a trial or subscription?
04 / Convenience

We hope to reduce configuration and day-to-day management

Platform-integrated accounts are suitable for customers who do not wish to configure APIs themselves and prefer to have the platform handle account integration and operational management.

Customers who do not wish to handle API configuration and routine connection issues may consider account integration. The platform handles account onboarding and operational management, allowing customers to view their funds, trading activity, and settlement records through a unified dashboard; however, market risks do not disappear simply because of a change in management approach.

  • No need to configure exchange APIs yourself
  • The platform handles all operational management centrally.
  • Settle service fees according to the applicable rules
05 / Three profiles

Beginners, manual traders, and clients with limited time will derive different levels of value

Beginners gain access to a fully integrated system of strategies, execution, and risk management, eliminating the need to program from scratch; manual traders benefit from more consistent execution and fewer distractions during trading sessions; and busy clients no longer have to turn their positions into a round-the-clock monitoring task.

All three categories of clients must still understand that perpetual contracts carry the risk of loss, choose an amount they can afford to lose, and be aware of their account and permission limits. Lowering the barrier to entry does not mean hiding risks, nor does it mean that clients do not need to pay attention to account security.

  • Lowering the Technical Barrier for Beginners
  • Manual traders reduce emotional bias and repetitive work
  • Customers with limited time gain the ability to run continuously
06 / Not suitable

This service is not suitable for clients seeking fixed returns, short-term windfalls, or those unable to tolerate fluctuations in their principal.

Any sound trading system will experience adverse market conditions and periods of loss. Investing funds needed for daily living into futures trading, demanding daily profits, or frequently changing settings upon seeing short-term losses all conflict with long-term, systematic trading.

If a client wishes to manually adjust the same position at any time while still requiring the bot to remain fully responsible for the results, this can easily lead to a conflict of control. The system can allow the client to take over, but once this happens, it must be clearly established who will continue to manage that position.

  • If you cannot tolerate any losses, futures trading is not suitable for you.
  • Evaluating the system based on individual results can lead to misjudgments.
  • Manual and automated trading cannot simultaneously compete for the same position.
07 / Expectation

The correct approach is to minimize ineffective decisions and consistently follow rules over the long term, rather than trying to predict every market movement.

Customers should evaluate net results, drawdowns, risk profiles, and system stability over the entire trading cycle, rather than focusing solely on the best or worst single trade. Transaction fees, funding fees, and slippage should all be factored into the evaluation, and unrealized gains should not be equated with realized profits.

The long-term goal of system iterations is to improve market adaptability and execution quality; however, historical performance and returns from previous versions do not guarantee future results. When customers choose OQIRON, they are choosing a continuously evolving methodology, not purchasing a guaranteed outcome.

  • Evaluate using net profit rather than gross spread
  • Monitor returns, drawdowns, and operational status simultaneously
  • Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

Before you begin, please answer these four questions

01

Do you understand the risks?

Be aware that perpetual contracts may result in losses

First, understand that perpetual contracts, leverage, and principal may be at risk of loss, and recognize that automation cannot eliminate market risk. If you cannot tolerate any volatility, you should not begin trading simply because the platform is user-friendly.

02

Can you afford the risk?

Do not use funds needed for daily living expenses

Trading funds should be kept separate from funds needed for daily living expenses, and you should be able to withstand normal loss cycles. If your capital is too small, you’ll also need to consider the exchange’s minimum trade size, fees, and strategy execution requirements.

03

How would you like to manage this?

Self-Managed or Platform-Managed

If you prioritize direct control, you can choose the individual API; if you wish to simplify configuration, consider the integrated account. These two modes alter the allocation of responsibility but do not change the risks inherent in the market itself.

04

Are you willing to monitor this over the long term?

Do not evaluate the system based on the results of a single trade

Customers should evaluate the system based on net returns, drawdowns, and performance over a full trading cycle, rather than judging it based on a single profit or loss. Long-term expectations are better suited to systematic trading.
