Differences Between Personal Accounts and Integrated Accounts

Understand the two account modes in terms of funding sources, access methods, and fee structures.

Individual Account Mode

Customers connect to Oqiron through an exchange API while keeping their accounts and funds at their own exchange. A personal account requires a valid trial or an active paid subscription. Withdrawal permission does not block API linking or bot startup, and OQIRON does not use a customer's trading API to make withdrawals.

02

Integrated Account Mode

Customers deposit funds via on-chain methods supported by the platform, and the platform establishes a segregated fund ledger for each customer. Integrated accounts do not incur subscription fees; revenue sharing is calculated based on effective rules only on positive net returns after settlement and reconciliation.

03

The two modes will not be mixed up.

A single customer may maintain both modes, but bots, funds, orders, returns, and fees must be recorded separately. The fact that a page displays “Available” does not guarantee that a bot can be launched; it must still pass funding, risk, and system security checks before launch.

04

When selecting an account type, please answer the following three questions first

First, where you want to keep your funds; second, whether you are willing and able to properly configure the exchange API; third, whether you prefer a subscription-based model with revenue sharing or a subscription-free model with revenue sharing based on integrated account rules. The core differences between personal accounts and integrated accounts lie in the fund flow, integration methods, and fee structures—not in the quality of the strategies.

Both methods require the isolation of client identities, funds, and trading bots, and both require passing risk and operational checks. Clients should understand both modes before making a selection and should not assume that a feature has been activated or that funds have been deposited simply because a button is visible.

After reading this, what should customers be able to do?

Truly understanding a knowledge article isn’t about memorizing a few terms, but about being able to make the right decisions based on actual page content and account status. Use the checklist below to verify whether you’ve grasped the key points.

  • If you want to keep your funds on your own exchange, you may want to focus on learning about personal accounts.
  • If you don’t want to configure the API, you can check the current availability status of the integrated account.
  • Confirm the subscription fee and revenue-sharing rules separately
  • Do not mix bot and fund records between the two account types.

Frequently Asked Questions

These questions are directly related to the content of this article. Answers are based on current platform rules and actual operational standards; however, when it comes to packages, percentages, the scope of available features, or account status, the information displayed on the customer dashboard and official statements shall prevail.

  • What is the difference between a personal account and an integrated account? | A personal account uses your own exchange account and API; an integrated account accesses the client-segregated ledger via platform-supported funding methods. Funds, bots, orders, and fees are recorded separately for each mode.
  • Will I still have control over my funds after using a personal account? | Yes. Funds in your personal account remain in your exchange account. The platform only uses authorized and verified read and trade capabilities and absolutely does not require withdrawal permissions.
  • What Are the Advantages of the Integrated Account Mode? | With the integrated account mode, clients do not need to configure exchange APIs themselves, and there are no subscription fees. The platform uses an isolated ledger to track principal, available funds, utilized funds, returns, and fees, and only distributes profits according to the rules on positive net returns after settlement and reconciliation.
Integrated account features will be enabled gradually based on the platform’s actual availability; please refer to the current operational status displayed on the page.
